Dog for the Win!

Single or like to go on adventures but your partner doesn’t? Get a dog! 

I started my dog on road trips early, when she was a pup, and she can go everywhere. From hotels in Vegas to remote river camping spots, she loves it and so do I. She has seen more of the United States than some people I know. 

At one point I bought a ton of stuff for her, but I discovered if she has a good bed and can see out the window when we are driving, she’s happy. Travel bowls that collapse are a must - easy to pack if you’re on a long hike - even if she prefers to drink from a stream. 

Get some foot coverings too if you’re going on rough terrain or cold weather places. And baths. Baths are ideal after a dirty day on the trail. It also helps you keep an eye on ticks and other pests things that get stuck in their fur. 

Never does she complain, never does she say she’s too tired. She’s the best travel buddy and always ready to go!
